The Eagle S100 rear derailleur was developed to be particularly reliable and powerful. The half-mount upgrade also improves the stability and shifting precision of your drivetrain. A frame with UDH derailleur hanger is required for installation and only fits the SRAM S100 rear derailleur. The additional stability is particularly important for E-MTBs, where the heavy weight can cause damage even if the bike tips over.
